Today we're taking a peek at the studio of Casual Films, an online video production agency based in London and New York. This particular space is of the firm's new London home. In Casual Film's own words: "Having been cramped into a tiny, overheated office we wanted somewhere with a lot of space. And that’s exactly what we got. We worked with designer and maker Arnaud Nichols for two months to develop the blueprints.
"We wanted to take the design influences from the exposed brick walls and wooden floors - it had to be something industrial, but with smart clean finishes. Think wood, steel and glass. Where possible we used reclaimed and recycled materials. The fittings and furnishings were selected by Lucy at Lula Blue. She did a great job of putting the finishing touches from the reception area with red Chesterfields to decorative Super 8 cameras, a popcorn machine and an enormous branded lightbox which dominates the main space.
"The space is incredibly versatile. We’ve hosted shoots, parties, private fine dining events, breakfast meetings, screenings and a table football tournament. Additional features include a screening room with HD projector, 9 edit suites, a voice-over recording booth and sound proof green-screen studio."
