Renowned aerial photographer Jason Hawkes loves to travel over London by helicopter, capturing landmarks and points of interest from above.
He's specialised in the creative discipline for more than 20 years and has produced over 35 books, showcasing his fascinating aerial shots from locations across the globe.
Of course, shooting from above shows places from an entirely new perspective and he especially loves the images that are very abstract where it's hard to determine what they are.
"I find it more interesting to shoot abstract, art formed images of things that are natural or manmade which you don't know are there until you happen to fly over them. Shooting icons like the London Eye at night is really great and it's lit up beautifully so you can create some really interesting patterns that you are not quite aware of when you are on the ground."
