Although I may be a little late to the party here, I discovered a hashtag on Instagram the other day that has now become a daily go-to. The humble #studiodog is for people who work in creative agencies and, quite simply, love dogs.
If you have a particular affection for pooches and you work in the creative industries, then Byråhundar – otherwise known as Agency Dogs – is a "happiness project" that documents the studio pooches of Stockholm's creative agencies.
Created by Jenny Theolin of Studio Theolin and illustrator Jessica Eriksson of Persikamy, it's an "attempt to start new conversations, collaboration and to break down silos", and their ambition is to map out the entire country’s furry office friends, taking photographs and creating illustrations of them.
Jenny said: "I have never heard agency staff being so happy. When I visit for a pooch-shoot, the whole company seems to be in the know. It’s a lovely few minutes of pure joy spending time with them and their furry co-workers. It’s a project making everyone happy basically, including the pooches, as we spoil them rotten.
"It’s also a great networking (dog working) project, as we talk about all sorts of things. In my line of work, my collaborators tend to come to me, so this is a perfect excuse to see the landscape of the land.”
If we've sparked your interest, then give Jenny and Jessica's project a follow on Instagram @byrahundar or visit byrahundar.se.
