Beth Walrond's chunky and colourful illustrations inspired by her many travels

Much of Beth Walrond's inspiration comes from her many travels around the world. From the neon lights of Tokyo to the beautiful mountains of New Zealand, the British illustrator's unmistakable, globetrotting style has so far attracted the attention of The New York Times, Wall Street Journal and Wired magazine, just some of the many clients she has the pleasure of freelancing for.

Originally from the UK, but now based in Berlin, Beth loves to explore with her sketchbook and enjoys drawing the characters and places she visits. Right now, she's also writing and illustrating her own book – details of which are yet to be released.

Amongst her fun and colourful works, dotted with satisfyingly chunky characters with swirling thick arms and features, Beth loves to illustrate maps, adding in a flavour of each country she draws – whether that's a local speciality or interesting landmark. Discover more at bethwalrond.com.
