There's something about the facade of a building. Its little details and colours. The way it changes at different times of the day. How it sits alongside its neighbouring properties. For Matt Petosa, a New York photographer, it's his passion to capture the Big Apple's wonderful architecture, both new and old.
A graduate of Fine Art from Syracuse University, Matt's goal is to show the beauty, strength and colour of the world, focusing on views of everyday scenes from a trained eye. "My current project, Elevations & Avenues, explores historical architectural urban landscapes with an eye on formal composition and details."
We especially love his images that show the contrasting coloured buildings of a typical Manhattan street. You can see more of his work at mattpetosa.com.
