London-based Form has created a fresh, striking and colourful campaign for the 2019 Fever-Tree Championships at The Queen’s Club – an annual tournament featuring some of the world’s top tennis players.
Commissioned by LTA and Fever-Tree, Form's series of celebratory designs appear across digital, print and ‘Out of Home’ advertising as well as marketing materials, positioning the historic sporting event as a highlight for the summer season.
Form commissioned illustrator Charlie Davis to create some fun and engaging illustrations for the campaign that built on this 'fun day out' theme. "Sometimes tennis can be presented in quite an elitist and traditional way so we wanted to make this feel accessible and more fun,” says Paula Benson, one of the founders of Form. "The distinctive colour palette of primarily blues, oranges and greens is drawn largely from Fever-Tree brand colours."
Adds co-founder Paul West: “Charlie is very much in demand these days, so it was fortunate that he was eager to work with Paula and me, that he was excited by our brief – and available! Having researched many different illustrators we just kept coming back to Charlie’s work, it has that hint of retro we were looking for to subtly communicate the heritage of the event and fits the tone we wanted to project perfectly."
