This stunning series of photographs highlights the many sides of the late and great, David Bowie. Captured by three iconic British photographers, the never before seen images will be sold to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
If you're a Bowie fan (and let's face it, who isn't?), you'll have the exclusive opportunity to bag a unique snap. The selection of 27 prints, by Chalkie Davies, Tony McGee and Denis O’Regan, will be available to buy through an online auction, hosted by Givergy.
Many of the images have never been exhibited, and some have never left the photographers' studios, that is...until now. However, to coincide with the auction, the collection will also be showcased through an exhibition, David Bowie: Fame, Fashion, Photography.
The exhibition is supported by Regent Street, and will take place at the very spot where Bowie was photographed for the cover of The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders from Mars, released in June 1972.
The silent online auction of framed images, which are signed by the photographers, aims to raise thousands of pounds for charity, with bidding open until 6.30pm on 19th June.
For more information, or to place a bid, visit: www.givergy.com/charity/cancer-research-uk. All proceeds raised from the auction will be donated to Cancer Research UK in David Bowie's memory.
