Taking inspiration from the Masters such as Claude Monet and Vincent van Gogh, Meko uses satin and ribbon stitch to complete her impressive threaded paintings. She is completely self-taught, and follows in the footsteps of her mother who also enjoyed needlework.

Apparently, each piece takes between two to three weeks to complete, and although most replicate much-loved, iconic artworks, Meko also loves to paint with thread to create her own impressionist works. You can discover more about the Tbilisi, Georgia-based artist via Facebook.
