Isabella Thaller is an Austrian graphic designer and art director. After having worked for various leading design studios and as a freelance designer in London and Berlin, Isabella now runs her own Vienna-based studio.
With a focus on brand identity and print, she creates visual communication across various media, from conception to production. Working with clients of all sizes and from diverse sectors, both locally and internationally, she is supported by a network of talented suppliers and collaborators. Her aim is to capture the essence of a brand or enterprise and make it visible to its audience.
For her project Voyage, Thaller travelled the world. She explains: "When we immerse ourselves in foreign surroundings we gain new impressions and often take on an observing role — even more so when travelling alone.
"I captured such moments when travelling around the world for nine months. The outcome is a book with about 90 photographs from nine countries that I’ve visited during this trip. Printed on an Indigo Press on Mohawk Superfine uncoated, the images display brilliance while maintaining their natural style. The book’s screen printed greyboard cover and open stitch binding add to this natural feeling."
