London luxury branding specialists Construct recently sent out their monthly Luxury Briefing missive, and in doing so reminded us to delve into their excellent portfolio of work for high-end clients.
The charming and beautifully executed piece of work we’re bringing you today is the identity and SS '16 campaign for fashion and accessories brand Hill and Friends, which turned into a full-on Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel style day out for the great and good.
To bring their gorgeous understated sans serif logo mark to life, the agency worked with the brand to reconfigure London hotel Claridge's as “Hotel Hill and Friends” for a day. “The entrance was covered in overgrown natural foliage flocked and sprayed in the brand's signature neon pink and Bellboys dressed in Hill and Friends branded uniforms stood sentry to greet guests on their arrival,” Construct explains.
Once seated at the Hill and Friends all pink breakfast table, guests enjoyed friendly breakfast cookies in the shape of fried eggs, rashers of bacon and buttered toast complete with happy Hill and Friends faces… Hill and Friends Bellboys carried the new collection around the room on silver trays, luggage trolleys and even accompanied by miniature ponies in the signature livery.”
