An Open Call for photographers has been announced for the Photography on a Postcard project, which is looking for upcoming talent to show alongside Martin Parr, Dougie Wallace, Edmund Clarke, Tom Hunter, Simon Norfolk, Chris Steele Perkins, Jenny Lewis, Homer Sykes, Eleanor McNair, David Hoffman and many more well known and loved photographers.
The organisers of the initiative, which was set up to raise funds for the Hepatitis C Trust, are looking for fashion, fine art, reportage and street photography. Dougie Wallace will be sitting on the judging panel along with industry experts from Art on a Postcard and theprintspace.co.uk.
You can submit your work through the submissions link here. Winning entries will be made into postcards and auctioned to the public for charity. Buyers will be able to purchase a ticket guaranteeing them a photograph, although they won’t know which card they have won until the show closes on 17 October.
Each photograph will be an edition of one and will come with a signed certificate of authenticity. All the money raised will go to The Hepatitis C Trust’s campaign to eliminate hepatitis C from the UK by the year 2030.
