Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity has joined forces with a group of twelve illustrators and designers to create a limited-edition collection of eighties-inspired t-shirts, with all the profits going to Great Ormond Street Hospital.
The 1980s saw the launch of the Wishing Well Appeal, the first major fundraising appeal from Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity which kickstarted decades of fundraising. The charity is celebrating thirty years of support with a new '80s-themed campaign which includes the launch of a retro collection of t-shirts, with each design inspired by the decade in which the Wishing Well Appeal took place.
Capturing the distinctive colours and style of the 1980s, the t-shirts feature illustrations by artists including Anthony Burill, Chrissie Abbott, Emma Fisher, Hanna Kastl-Lungberg, Marta Veludo, Biff, Risotto Studio, Crispin Finn, Dan Woodger, Daisy Emerson, Thomas Hedger and Hattie Stewart.
Available in a range of sizes, the collection will be on sale from today until 6 April 2018 on the Everpress website. All money raised from the t-shirt collection will then go towards helping the hundreds of children who arrive at Great Ormond Street Hospital every day.
T-shirts are priced at £20 each with 100% of profits going to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity. To find out more, visit gosh.org/shop80s.
