Craig & Karl collaborate with textile studio Ambar for bold and playful knitwear

Called C&K x Ambar, it includes a playfully joyous scarf as well as bright throw made from the softest 100% Woolmark-certified merino wool. Defined by daring colourways accented by bold patterns, the collection was designed in Ambar's East London studio and made exclusively with UK manufacturers.

Natália Nicolau, founder of Ambar says: "This is a really exciting opportunity to be able to use my textiles as a platform for Craig & Karl's joyful work, which is an aesthetic that is so different from our signature Ambar look. From selecting the yarn colours to sampling, it's been great to see these super fun products come to life and we are so pleased with the result."

Karl Maier, of Craig & Karl, adds: "It felt like a very natural application of our visual language and something we've long been interested in trying. In our work, we're often looking at the interaction of bold colour and graphic patterns and finding points of balance or tension between them to create something more expressive. We feel that the two pieces we've created together perfectly encapsulate this, marrying the playfulness of our approach with the tangible warmth of Ambar's aesthetic."

C&K x Ambar is available for pre-order now from ambarliving.com and will ship from early December. The scarf costs £160 while the blanket is £345.
