If you understand why it never gets easier, you just go faster or know full well what rule number five means, then you'll love these new cycling art prints by leading designers and artists including Sir Paul Smith, David Millar, Taylor Phinney, Refold, Death Spray Custom and more.
Available exclusively via The Handmade Cyclist, the collection called Hup Hup Hup was originally created as a set of one-off flags to mark the 2019 UCI Road World Championships, where creative agency Conductor invited nine creatives to each make a unique design for the range. These designs are now available for the first time in a numbered, limited-edition large format.
Amongst the artists is Anthony Burrill, who created a print entitled Ahead Only: "When I'm riding my bike and I see this written on the road it spurs me on, to carry on, either to my destination or back home. I like the simplicity and how the phrase can be applied to life outside cycling. We should always push ahead and not be held back."
If you've not yet heard of The Handmade Cyclist, it designs and sells original art prints, ceramics, gifts and apparel rooted in the stories, history and legends of cycling. In addition to its own range of cycling art and products, it has collaborated with a range of brands and clients including Craft Sportswear, Rouleur Magazine, Yellow Jersey Press and more.
