Design Army, the award-winning design studio based in Washington D.C., has a lovely gift for you: five cool templates for InDesign.
Specially created to celebrate InDesign’s 20th anniversary, Design Army, the templates are inspired by 20 years of print design trends, including David Carson’s 90s typography; Memphis design’s obsession with graphic grids; the crazy colour gradients of the original VH-1 era; modernism’s abstract styles; and sci-fi futurism.
“Until now, designers have considered templates taboo,” says Pum Lefebure, Design Army’s chief creative officer. “But we’re hell-bent on changing that. Design is democratised, the world has changed and so should we. To lead, we must embrace the future.”
There's a Futuristic Event Posters Set and a Colourful Shop Brochure Layout. You can also download a Futuristic Memphis Design-Inspired Magazine Layout, a Modern Design Lookbook Layout and a Retro Proposal Layout – all for free.
(Note: you'll need an Adobe ID to do, but if you don't have one, don't worry: it's free to register for one).
