For those not familiar with the name, Fruit Stickers is a virtual scrapbook of those vibrant, colourful stickers you find on the sides of fruits and vegetables in local markets all over the globe, archived on Instagram.
This hotbed of aesthetic inspiration has proved hugely popular with creatives the world over and is followed by a host of top designers and artists such as Wolfgang Tillmans, Baron von Fancy, Henry Holland, Andy Rementer, Wade Jeffree, Aries Moross and Mr. Bingo, and also inspiring projects from the likes of Off White and Gorman.
Due to overwhelming public demand, Fruit Stickers has joined forces with innovative clothing production company Everpress to launch a limited edition run of t-shirts featuring some of the most popular sticker designs in its collection, an inspiring reimagination of these cheerful masterpieces of design, hiding in plain sight throughout everyday life.
With two designs to choose from, the t-shirts will be available to order from today until 1 August, after which no more will be manufactured. You can order your own via everpress.com/fruit-stickers.
Fruit Stickers is the creation of London-based collector, designer and curator Kelly Angood. Aside from running the project, Kelly works in the product design and start-up world where she helps raise money and awareness for creative projects and brands. So far, she's helped raise over £4 million for companies looking to get their ideas off the ground.
