Tatty Devine brings bling to Beetlejuice in its new collab with Warner Bros.

As the world awaits the new Beetlejuice movie, Tatty Devine's jewellery collection takes inspiration from the original to bring the afterlife to life.

When it comes to designer jewellery, we're big fans of Tatty Devine. Founded in east London in 1999 by Harriet Vine and Rosie Wolfenden after graduating from Chelsea School of Art, all of their jewellery is designed and handmade in-house by a female-led team. And they have a long history of cool collabs, such as their 2021 partnership with Morag Myerscough.

Now, here's the latest. In celebration of their 25th anniversary, they've officially partnered with Warner Bros. on a new line of beyond-the-grave glam to tie in with the new Beetlejuice sequel. These unique pieces will be available to buy online from 15 August.

If you haven't seen it, Tim Burton's original 1988 Beetlejuice movie is a true cult classic. And this quirky, macabre comedy about a bio-exorcist ghost helping a recently deceased couple scare away the new inhabitants of their home has left an indelible mark on pop culture.

Its unique blend of horror and humour, coupled with Burton's distinctive visual style, has inspired countless artists, designers, and filmmakers over the years. As the world awaits the upcoming follow-up, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Tatty Devine has conjured up a collection that brings the original's eccentric charm to life in wearable form.

With just 13 weeks before Halloween (if you know, you know), what can we expect to be able to purchase? Well, there's the Beetlejuice Charm Statement Necklace that celebrates the legacy of the classic 1988 film in one collectable piece. It features a petrifying plethora of 10 etched and hand-inked charms. Swinging from vintage-style links, an array of purple, green and striped laser-cut acrylic plays home to film-inspired friends. It's best layered over mesh frills and crushed velvet for the perfect Halloween ensemble. It's probably the right option for die-hard Beetlejuice fans.

But wait! What about Dante's Inferno Room Necklace? This impressive statement piece features layers of laser-cut glitter, marble, and a mirror acrylic frame, as well as a wicked devil head doorway centrepiece. The gleaming pearlescent teeth and graphic inked lettering make this a true statement piece. It pairs well with monochrome layers and wicked Halloween outfits.

Or if those options are a tad OTT, you might opt for the Beetlejuice Sandworm Necklace. This unique piece of jewellery reimagines the iconic villainous Sandworm in an array of glitter and pearlescent laser-cut acrylic. Shimmering segments suspended from a silver-plated chain lead towards a dual-headed visage, etched and hand-inked. Complete with a red crystal eye, it's perfect for pairing with colour-pop separates.

Then there's the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Sign Necklace. Oh yes! In this piece, the iconic 'Betelgeuse, Betelgeuse' light-up sign gets an acrylic refresh for 2024. Laser-cut in pearlescent white acrylic, encased in a glittering red and gold outline, it features colour-pop crystals and vivid red polka dots recreating sparkling light bulbs. We love it!

Perhaps you might prefer something for your lapel? The Beetlejuice Miss Argentina Brooch reimagines the wraith's iconic visage in layers of glittering and pearlescent, laser-cut acrylic. Serving a striking red lip and a unique up-do, it's etched and hand-inked with monochromatic detailing to bring the character's bold look to life. Perfect for pinning onto oversized statement collars.

The Beetlejuice Suit Necklace, meanwhile, embodies freelance poltergeists with Beetlejuice's instantly recognisable striped suit. Recreated in laser-cut pearlescent white acrylic, it's etched and hand-inked with illusion-inducing black and white stripes. A flash of vivid green inking, meanwhile, pays homage to Beetlejuice's hair-raising highlights.

Or what about the Beetlejuice Logo Necklace – laser-cut in glossy black acrylic? Etched and hand-inked in vivid green, its detailing mimics the skull-adorned logo from the iconic 1980s film. One hundred per cent recycled, it's perfect for channeling Winona Ryder as Lydia Deetz when paired with vivid red dresses and statement fringe.

There really is something for everyone, as the Beetlejuice Strange and Unusual Brooch proves. It celebrates the style of Lydia Deetz by transforming the iconic Beetlejuice quote into a statement-making pin. Laser-cut on glossy black acrylic and etched with contrasting white ink, it's ideal for clustering with other Beetlejuice-inspired jewellery.

Also up for grabs is the Handbook For The Recently Deceased Brooch. Clever indeed. An option for those of us who like to be a little more subtle with our cultural references. The eye-catching brooch reimagines the newly ghosted Barbara and Adam Maitland's guidebook for spirits, digitally printed in miniature over laser-cut plywood. Couple it with the Beetlejuice Suit Brooch to breathe life (and death) into any look.

Finally, what about the Beetlejuice Shrunken Head Pendant, best paired with a sprinkle of shrinking powder? Laser-cut from oil-on-plateresque acrylic swirling in shades of gold, green and purple, this witchy accessory is etched and hand-inked to mimic 1988's go-to ghoul, Harry the Haunted Hunter. Or perhaps you'd rather wear the Ghost With The Most Earrings? These reimagine Beetlejuice's classic sheet ghost scene in pearlescent white acrylic, laser-cut and hand-inked with contrasting black details. A great choice for those saying "no feet" to this year's Halloween costume.

There will be plenty of options to choose from. The collection will be available later this month. Be sure to follow Tatty Devine for more updates. Until then, sing with us: "Shake, shake, shake, Senora, shake your body line. Shake, shake, shake, Senora, shake it all the time!"
