Whereabouts: Alice Pasquini's line drawings on the back of postcards document her travels

It's a way of remembering where she's been, creating a tangible memory that she can refer back to whenever she likes. Now, for the first time, Pasquini is revealing her collection in a new exhibition in Amsterdam.

Whereabouts at ART3035 Gallery kicks off on 24 January and presents postcard artworks created all over the world: from São Paulo and Berlin to New York City. We especially like how Pasquini will also take a photograph of each work in-situ, so we can see what inspired her at the time.

The show will also present a series of geographical maps from the 1950s that Pasquini has reinterpreted by adding her own drawings.

The Roman artist, both a street artist and painter, as well as an illustrator and set designer, is continually travelling the world and her preferred canvas is city walls.

Alice graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome and has lived and worked in the UK, France, and Spain. While in Madrid she completed coursework in animation at the Ars animación school and, in 2004, obtained an MA in critical art studies at the Universidad Complutense.
